ARTIST
Rhonda Radford Adams, R.D.H. | Integrative Artist & Creative Wellness Advocate
Art has always been my language—a way to transform emotions, tell stories, and create spaces for reflection and healing. As a multidisciplinary artist, my work blends collage, textiles, and mosaics to explore the intersection of creativity, mindfulness, and well-being. Whether through my textured mixed-media or expressive art workshops, my goal is to engage the senses and connect people to the healing power of color, form, and movement.
As a member of Archway Gallery, I exhibit my work on a monthly basis, sharing my evolving journey of artistic exploration. My work is collected publicly and privately, and I have collaborated on public art projects that merge artistic expression with community wellness—partnering with initiatives like SPARK Park, Project Row Houses, Texas Children's Art & Medicine Program, Houston Urban Harvest and The Alabama Gardens.
While my creative process is deeply intuitive, it is also informed by my background as a Registered Dental Hygienist and wellness educator. I believe art is more than an aesthetic experience—it’s a tool for self-discovery, stress relief, and transformation. This philosophy extends beyond the canvas into my expressive arts workshops, where I integrate meditation, sound healing, and movement-based practices to help individuals reconnect with themselves and their creative potential.
In addition to my studio practice, I developed ARTRRA Mantra, a collection of healing art products designed to bring intention and mindfulness into daily life. From original artwork to mantra-infused pieces, my work is rooted in the idea that art can inspire, uplift, and restore balance. Through artistic exploration and creative wellness, I invite you to experience color as more than just pigment—but as energy, emotion, and healing.
