SOUL Food Public Art Garden Mosaic Mural Workshops for The Alabama Gardens

SOUL Food Public Art Garden Mosaic Mural Workshops for The Alabama Gardens

Join us in celebrating the beauty of art and nature while supporting the Alabama Gardens at our garden art mosaic workshops. Soul Food, a public art project, engages local residents in co-creating a delightful mosaic mural that will welcome visitors to The Alabama Garden, located in Houston's historic Third Ward community.

Hosted by Urban Harvest, this immersive workshop, in collaboration with artist Rhonda Radford Adams, will ignite your passion for gardening through the art of mosaics. Emphasizing sustainability, we'll integrate recycled materials like broken ceramic dishes to symbolize the healing power of community gardens.

Join us on October 16th for the unveiling celebration of the mosaic mural, coinciding with Farmers Day. This special occasion will marK the dedication of this public art to Alabama Gardens in celebration of their efforts to inspire a healthier community.

No experience needed - all materials provided. Secure your spot today and be part of this meaningful celebration, inspiring a healthier community through art and nature!
